Hello, and thank you for your interest in our hospital! We’re happy to introduce ourselves and share a little bit about our history, our philosophy and our staff. Our History:
East Douglas Veterinary Clinic was established in 1987 as a satellite clinic of Solomon Veterinary Clinic. In March of 2001, we became an independent practice. Dr. Cowan has been at this location since the clinic opened.
Our Philosophy:
We believe in preventative medicine and early detection of health problems. This begins with puppy and kitten examinations and vaccinations. It continues into adulthood with routine check-ups, heartworms tests and other diagnostic evaluations. With the aging of our pet population, new information emerges almost daily to enhance and extend the quality and quantity of life to these “senior citizens”.
This philosophy of practice is best served if there is excellent communication with our clients. We will listen to you and do our utmost to fulfill the level of care you desire for your pet. Please feel free to share your questions and concerns with us!
